Meghan A. Moran
Ms. Moran joined Zimmer Kunz in August 2005. Her practice is primarily focused on civil litigation, including automobile insurance defense; commercial insurance defense; and general liability defense.
Ms. Moran is a native of Altoona, Pennsylvania, and attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2000, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and History. She received her Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law in 2003. While in college and law school, Ms. Moran performed with the internationally renowned Eastern European folk ensemble, the Duquesne University Tamburitzans. After law school, Ms. Moran worked as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Dan Pellegrini of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Moran has been admitted to the bar of the Courts of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Supreme Court of the United States. She is an active member in the Allegheny County Bar Association, including the Women’s Legal Division.
Ms. Moran has mentored high school students through Duquesne University’s Career Literacy for African American Youth (CLAAY) Program and has volunteered as a mentor at Duquesne University Law School. When she is not practicing law, Ms. Moran teaches Zumba, aerobics, pilates and dances with the Duquesne University Tamburitzan Alumni Ensemble.
