Mr. Butcher is a Director with Zimmer Kunz. In 2010 and 2011, Mr. Butcher was named a Pennsylvania Rising Star in the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers publication; a peer review designation reserved for less than 5% of the practicing bar. Mr. Butcher is recognized for his expertise in the general litigation practice area. Mr. Butcher handles litigation matters involving trials, arbitration, and appeals. He has an extensive history of handling a variety of matters in federal and state court, including commercial litigation, general liability litigation, employment matters (i.e. discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour/Fair Labor Standards Act), motor vehicle, municipal liability, products liability, premises liability, insurance, and toxic tort matters. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Mr. Butcher received his law degree from the Franklin Thomas Backus School of Law at Case Western Reserve University with honors (cum laude) in 2000. Mr. Butcher, who originally hails from the Youngstown, Ohio area, attended Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History. Currently, Mr. Butcher is a member of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations, where he is also a member of their litigation divisions.
