Daniel E. Krauth

Mr. Krauth is a Western Pennsylvania native who received his Bachelor’s Degree in 1985 from the Pennsylvania State University. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1989. While at Georgetown, Mr. Krauth received the Washington Law Reporter Award, and also served in the Public Interest Law Clinic.

Mr. Krauth is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations.

Mr. Krauth’s practice is devoted entirely to civil litigation with concentration in the areas of commercial litigation, including oil and gas litigation, product liability, construction defects and toxic tort. In addition, Mr. Krauth has developed a specialized knowledge of the Marcellus Shale development in Pennsylvania, and the attendant litigation associated with that development, including land use, condemnation and leasing rights.

Mr. Krauth is an active member in a number of philanthropic and non-profit organizations and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Western Pennsylvania Diversity Initiative. He also served on the Board of the Career Literacy for African American Youth, sponsored by Duquesne University. He also serves as the volunteer head coach for his daughter’s basketball team.
